Payload is a game mode originating from Team Fortress 2.

In Payload, RED must prevent BLU from pushing a bomb-rigged payload cart into their base. Capturing cart-based control points along the way gives the attacking team more time, and prevents the cart from rolling backwards.

Some examples from Team Fortress 2 include Upward, Badwater Basin, and Gold Rush.
